First Poster for the South Korean Drama 5 Million Dollar Man

Sometimes all you need is a poster, a premise, and the promise of something cheesy. If my instincts are working properly this morning — and I currently have no reason to believe they’re not — director Kim Ik-Ro’s upcoming drama “5 Million Dollar Man” (aka “A Millionaire on the Run”) is going to be pretty corny. At least I hope so, anyway. I suppose I shouldn’t base my expectations around a poster, but have you see the image embedded below? That thing is awesome. No worries if you don’t feel the same way.

Have a look at this dry, lifeless little synopsis:

A director orders a manager to deliver 5 million dollars of lobbying funds. The director has plans to kill the manager and skim the 5 million dollars for himself, but the manager finds out and fights back.

“Dream High” alumni Park Jin-Young stars as a singer with lofty dreams, which should make fans of the aforementioned franchise quite happy. “5 Million Dollar Man”, also stars Min Hyo-Rin, Jo Sung-Ha, Jo Hie-Bong, and Oh Jung-Se. The gleefully over-the-top poster resides below.
