Whether you’re welcoming it with open arms, or despising it with a passion, the release of Rob Zombie’s redux of John Carpenter’s seminal slasher Halloween is just around the corner. Having attended a special screening in the thick of 34th Street, a lucky New Yorker by the name of Johnny Vendetta (comic book sounding, I know) surprised readers of Aint It Cool with a comfortingly positive review of the musician-turned- filmmaker’s latest genre offering.
