The best part about Allan Ungar’s upcoming MMA flick “Tapped” is that it co-stars Krzysztof Soszynski, a real-life MMA fighter who previously had to lose to an overweight Kevin James in “Here Comes the Boom”. In “Tapped”, Soszynski will only have to suffer the indignity of losing to a teenager. But hey, at least the kid is in shape, right? I’m just kidding, of course. There’s plenty to like about Ungar’s film, especially if you’re in the mood for a little face-punching and head-knocking action. It looks like it’s got plenty of that, so that’s a plus. Also a plus? Michael Biehn and the Karate Kid’s greatest nemesis, Martin Kove, are also in this thing.
Check out the first teaser trailer for “Tapped” below. And yes, karate dojos are apparently involved.
A disgruntled teenager, sent to do community service at a run-down Karate school, enters an MMA tournament to face the man that killed his parents.
Starring Michael Biehn, Martin Kove, Anderson Silva, Krzysztof Soszynski, Lyoto Machida, Nick Bateman, and Cody Hackman.
