First Trailer for Ben Affleck’s Argo

Ben Affleck in Argo (2012) Movie Image

Wow. It’s done already? Or close enough that they were able to cut a trailer, anyway. Last I heard, they were just casting this thing, but apparently ever since he became a director, Ben Affleck has developed something of a Clint Eastwood style of filmmaking, because he sure got this thing done fast. Check out the first trailer for Affleck’s “Argo” (in which he also stars), due out later this year.

Based on true events, Warner Bros. Pictures’ and GK Films’ dramatic thriller “Argo” chronicles the life-or-death covert operation to rescue six Americans, which unfolded behind the scenes of the Iran hostage crisis–the truth of which was unknown by the public for decades.

Also starring Bryan Cranston, Alan Arkin, John Goodman, Kerry Bishé, Kyle Chandler, Rory Cochrane, Christopher Denham, Tate Donovan, Clea DuVall, Victor Garber, Zeljko Ivanek, Richard Kind, Scoot McNairy, Chris Messina, Michael Parks, and Taylor Schilling.

Get saved October 12, 2012.
