Damn, that’s a lot of water. Though thankfully Darren Aronofsky’s “Noah” hasn’t been filled with reports of disasters on the set like other water-based epics. “Waterworld” and “Titanic” come to mind. Then again, I’m guessing the bulk of those water scenes in “Noah” are aided by CGI, something that those two other films didn’t have a lot of help with back “in the day”. Sheesh, has it been 16 years since “Titanic”? Yup. Neeeeerrreeee, faaaaaaarr….
Ahem. Check out your first full trailer for Aronofsky’s bible tale “Noah”. Is it just me, or does the ark kind of look like a floating coffin? Yeah, that’s probably just me. UPDATE Added a much more action-packed second trailer.
Academy Award-winner Russell Crowe stars as Noah, a man chosen by God for a great task before an apocalyptic flood destroys the world.
Starring Russell Crowe, Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, Jennifer Connelly, Anthony Hopkins, Douglas Booth, Ray Winstone, Dakota Goyo, and Kevin Durand.
Flooding theaters next year March 28, 2014.
Paramount has also released an International version of the trailer that is, surprisingly, much more action-packed than the domestic one, which has to be a first, I think.
