I don’t know what “The Lorax” is. Then again, I didn’t grow up reading Dr. Seuss books. Sorry, no offense to the good Dr., but it just wasn’t part of my childhood. Nevertheless, here’s your first look at the trailer from Universal Pictures’ “The Lorax”. So where’s the rhyming? I thought all Dr. Seuss books have rhyming? I feel gypped.

From the creators of Despicable Me and the imagination of Dr. Seuss comes the 3D-CG feature Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, an adaptation of the classic tale of a forest creature who shares the enduring power of hope. The animated adventure follows the journey of a 12-year-old as he searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world.

Featuring the voices of Zac Efron, Danny DeVito, Ed Helms, Taylor Swift, Betty White, Willow Smith, Rob Riggle, Sherry Lynn, and Sébastien Buemi. Co-directed by Chris Renaud and Kyle Balda.

Save the world March 2, 2012.
