Drugs are bad. Mmmkay? If you don’t believe me, just take a gander at the first trailer for Steven Soderbergh’s “Side Effects”, take a ganderers. The film stars Jude Law, Rooney Mara, and Soderbergh’s new bestest pal, Channing “C-Tate” Tatum. Tatum is playing an adult in this one, in case you’re wondering, which is why he looks so out of place among the cast. But never you mind that. It’s a moody looking trailer with a great cast, and possibly something super important to say about the over-medicating of America’s populace. Or it could just be a sexy mystery thriller. Either/or.
