It’s a movie about a kid stuck on a slightly big lifeboat with a Bengal tiger. How bad could it be? Especially when there are CG flying fish around. I mean, CG flying fish! I wish I could catch one of these days. What kind of bait would you use? Flying cheese? Nightcrawlers? Anyways, check out the first clip from Ang Li’s “Life of Pi”, featuring intro by the director himself. Four years in the making? I can believe that. After all, it probably took him four years to convince someone to let him make this thing.

The story of an Indian boy named Pi, a zookeeper’s son who finds himself in the company of a hyena, zebra, orangutan, and a Bengal tiger after a shipwreck sets them adrift in the Pacific Ocean.

Starring Suraj Sharma, Tobey Maguire, Gérard Depardieu, Irrfan Khan, Tabu, Adil Hussain, Ayush Tandon, and flying into theaters November 21, 2012.
