Liam Neeson does what he does best next Friday in director Olivier Megaton’s “Taken 2”, the sequel to the surprise hit “Taken”. (Personally, I would have called it “Taken 2: No Take Backs” myself, given the premise, but you know, no one asked me, so whatever, Hollywood.) Anyways, check out three new clips (and two previously released clips) from the movie, which finds Neeson and co-stars Maggie Grace and Famke Janssen, playing his daughter an ex-wife, respectively, fleeing a small army of shady bad guys. You’d think bad guys would know better than to mess with the loved ones of Liam Neeson by now, but then again, bad guys are kinda dumb.
Liam Neeson returns as Bryan Mills, the retired CIA agent with a “particular set of skills” who stopped at nothing to save his daughter Kim from kidnappers. When the father of one of the villains Bryan killed swears revenge, and takes Bryan and his wife hostage in Istanbul, Bryan enlists Kim to help them escape. Bryan then employs his unique tactics to get his family to safety and systematically take out the kidnappers, one by one.
Also starring Rade Serbedzija, Leland Orser, and Luke Grimes.
Get taken again October 5, 2012.
