Five Thunderous Clips from Thor — One New, Four Oldies

The God of Thunder finally crashes theaters early next month on May 6, 2011, but until then, here’s a new clip featuring Thor getting his but cast out by dear old Poppa. I bet that Loki fella had something to do with it, but don’t hold me to it. Also, just in case you might have missed them, we’ve also included four previously released clips from the movie in order for your viewing pleasure. You can also read our review of the film here.

Thor spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is the mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth by his father Odin and is forced to live among humans. A beautiful, young scientist, Jane Foster (Portman), has a profound effect on Thor, as she ultimately becomes his first love. It’s while here on Earth that Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

Starring Natalie Portman, Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba, Kat Dennings, Anthony Hopkins, Stellan Skarsgård, Ray Stevenson, Rene Russo, Tom Hiddleston, Jaimie Alexander, Clark Gregg, Colm Feore, Tadanobu Asano, Adriana Barraza, Joshua Dallas, Matt Battaglia and directed by Kenneth Branagh.

OMG!!! That 1st clip almost made me cry, Hopkins’ performance was riveting! OMG! I can’t believe I’m actually seeing The Warriors 3 and Lady Sif come to life on film! Lady Sif looks like a true female Asgardian Warrior, Fandral looks Dashing, Volstagg looks Voluminous, and Hogun looks Grim, great scene!!!

Agreed! It was very emotionally strong for something in a CBM. This film really takes the Shakespearean feel to the next level and without all the thee’s and thous. LOL. Can’t wait.
