Four Icky International Posters For Balaguero and Paco’s REC 2

Rec2If, like me, you can’t wait for someone to finally release Jaume Balaguero and Paco Plaza’s zombie outing “REC 2″ in the United States, there’s a very strong possibility you may be interested in the four posters embedded below. After all, it’s probably the only way we’ll be able to properly consume new material from the film outside of bootlegged YouTube videos and the occasional unofficial pic unveiled by various genre-related news aggregators. Unless someone is kind enough to fly me to a location that’s screening the movie, an act that will require both food and hotel accommodations, I suppose articles such as this will have to suffice. Insert audible sigh here.

For those late to the party, the synopsis:

While covering the night shift at a small-town fire department, an ambitious young television reporter (Manuela Velasco) and her cameraman follow the crew on a call to rescue an elderly woman trapped in her apartment. Upon their arrival at the scene, the calm midnight air is pierced by the sound of horrific screams, and the television report takes an unexpectedly dark turn.

Unnecessary sequel? Perhaps. Enjoy the posters.

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at)
