Four Images, Two Posters for Gordon Chan’s Kung Fu Flick The Four

If you missed our coverage of Gordon Chan’s upcoming horror/martial arts effort “The Four”, then you really missed out. After nearly wetting myself while watching the trailer, I wrote a gushy little article about the flick. In the piece, I declared that the trailer was, and I quote, “the best minute you’ll spend watching crap online all week.” Guess what? I still feel the same way. So before you dive into the latest batch of images and posters for Chan’s punchy endeavor, pay a visit to the trailer embedded below. Just tell your wife/husband that you need to use the restroom. It’ll only take a minute.

To sweeten the deal, an enlightening synopsis:

An undercover agent is assigned by his corrupt chief to infiltrate a rival department and sabotage their investigation of counterfeit currency. What he discovers is the counterfeiter’s real plan. To overthrow the capital. Not by flooding it with funny money, but with an army of undead.

“The Four” stars Colin Chou, Anthony Wong, Crystal Liu, Deng Chao, and Ronald Cheng. Look for the movie to arrive in Chinese theaters on July 12, 2012. The images, as well as the trailer, are lounging down below. I strongly suggest you have a look or two.

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at)
