Isabel Lucas, Three More for Red Dawn Remake

Four more Wolverines!!!! Ahem. News from THR is that four more actors have joined the upcoming remake of John Milius’ 1984 tale of homeland invasion “Red Dawn”. Of the four names, I’m only familiar with one of them: Isabel Lucas (below), who was in this year’s mega hit “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”. Remember her? The girl with the smoldering eyes who attempted to seduce Sam Witwicky, but turned out to be a killer ‘bot? That’s her.
The other three names are Josh Hutcherson, Connor Cruise and Edwin Hodge. They join a cast that already includes leads Chris Hemsworth as a returning Iraq War Marine who gets into the thick of the action, Josh Peck as his star athlete little brother, and Adrianne Palicki as the love interest.
Hutcherson will play Robert (the C. Thomas Howell role), the group’s tech geek, while Lucas will be Erica (the Lea Thompson role), the high school head cheerleader and girlfriend of Peck’s character, who is locked up in an internment camp after the invasion. Cruise is Daryl, the son of the town mayor and Robert’s best friend, while Hodge will play Danny, described as “the coolest kid in school” and star wide receiver who helps establish the resistance against the invaders — the Chinese and Russians this time around.
Former “Bourne” guys Dan Bradley will direct from a script by Jeremy Passmore and Carl Ellsworth. The actors are currently all being shipped away to Hollywood military boot camp, and filming is expected to start next month for a September 24, 2010 release.

They have got to be kidding…I’m a fan of pretty women and all, but you can’t put a freaking model in a movie that’s supposed to be real. They’re going to completely obliterate the original and insult all the fans’ memories with these wanna-be kid actors who will sit and act like its Tropical Thunder when it’s supposed to be real. Who’s next….Shy Lebeauf as Patrick Swazy?
The plot: Commies invade America and it is a good thing! Free health care for everybody and redistribution of wealth and everything else. The end: Chavez is crowned to be the Secretary General of North-American SSR, the main characters cannot hold back the tears of joy.
That’s what’s gonna com out from today’s Hollywood.
They should have named it Obama-dawn.
Plot; The socialist take control and obolish the constitution, confiscate arms from the law abiding citizens, freedom of speech gone, secret police round up citizens that are negitive to the goverment and use terrorist type laws to detain indefinately. Then the citizen that resist go underground to fight for freedom.
But they already made that movie – it was called The Presidency of George W. Bush.
Actually I guess the arms-confiscation wasn’t in that one. Perhaps if there’s a sequel?
I thought Bush was a fascist, not a socialist. No matter; fascists, communists and socialists are all the same and GWB was none of the above. Obama is a fascist; it’s he who wants the government to control everthing.

Another Michigander will be joining the cast—- Jesse Poore VanZandt, a beautiful and talented woman from the Tecumseh area will be a part of the cast as well.
“This was a truely amazing experience” I said to myself as I stepped on the set of this film which happen to be shot in my home town on a thursday nite on the feild. It was not until the early hours of friday when the first shots were takin place.
This Was the first time I’ve been around such respected directors and famous actors and actresses. It was a nice treat to stand by Isabel Lucas, Josh Peck, Brett Cullen and Chris Hemsworth. From seeing them on t.v. to right it front of me. I had the joy of being star struck as I had to keep my composer on a movie set with all of these famous actors next to me.
Isabel Lucas was beautiful and breath taking at one moment we had crossed paths. She then said “sorry” like she was in my way, at this point I could not say anything when I felt like getting on one knee and asking her to marry me. When she walked away I rememberd thinking “I will never see such a beautiful face again”. She was a brilliant actress that left me speachless and hoping one day if we were to cross paths again I mite have the courage to open my mouth.
This was great time and thank you very much to the crew, actors and directors for letting me be behind the scenes like I was apart of a football scene in a major film it was memory I will never forget. The night made me want to become more involved with entertainment as a career.
I was the young white male I am twenty one but you would have mistakin me for eighteen or nineteen. I had the black long sleeve shirt with a dark purple undershirt, blue jeans and squared toe black leather shoes on with black hair that I wore up and messy.
