Four New Green Lantern Merchandising Wallpapers

Four new wallpaper posters for Martin Campbell’s upcoming “Green Lantern”, courtesy of The Daily Blam. These are apparently part of merchandising manufacturer NECA’s promos for their upcoming line of “Green Lantern” products, with Ryan Reynolds’ face CG’ed in.

In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan. Hal is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal is clearly the missing piece to the puzzle, and along with his determination and willpower, he has one thing no member of the Corps has ever had: humanity. With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris (Blake Lively), if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax…he will become the greatest Green Lantern of all.

Starring Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Temuera Morrison, Jenna Craig, Jon Tenney, Tim Robbins, Angela Bassett, Taika Cohen, Jeff Wolfe and directed by Martin Campbell.

I really need to see another Trailer. I was so pumped for this movie and still sorta am, but that first trailer was completely for non fans. it basically screamed, “Hey, its Ryan Reynolds, isn’t he funny and hot!? Come see the movie, everyday consumer”. I need one that just screams, “We’re going to blow your brain out with the 316 special fx shots riddled throughout this movie”. I am seriously more pumped for the animation than the movie at this point.

The last poster is kind of cool. The rest are a waste of time.

I wonder why we’ve haven’t seen more of Sinestro. He’s a big character but so far there’s been only a partial head on a poster and 1 and a half second on the trailer.

    What’s that all about?.
