French Horror Film Inside: Trailer, Images

Written by Nix | May 29th, 2007 | 8 Comments |

So Bloody-Disgusting has this article about how the Weinstein boys have acquired rights to the French horror film “Inside”. What got my attention was how BD described the film: “We’ve been told by a few sources that this film is one of the most brutal things screened at the market.” Oh really? How brutal is “brutal”, guys? The plot outline available at IMDB certainly doesn’t sound “brutal” at all. It goes: “Still grieving over her recently deceased boyfriend, a pregnant woman becomes haunted by a mysterious woman.”

“Inside” (”À l’int’rieur” in French) is co-written and directed by Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury, and stars B’atrice Dalle, Alysson Paradis, and Nathalie Roussel.

Trailer for the film:

Brutal for the sake of brutality. Tries to out-gore the Japanese and succeeds but that ain’t a good reason to make a film.
