Full English-Subtitled Trailer for Wilson Yip’s A Chinese Fairy Tale

After being teased incessantly with dozens of snappy images, a pair of intriguing teasers, and plenty of behind-the-scenes tidbits, we’ve finally received a full trailer for director Wilson Yip’s “A Chinese Fairy Tale”. What’s more, the damned thing comes with English subtitles. I honestly can’t believe my eyes. The clips is fantastic, and calms my fears that Yip may have taken the film in a direction that wouldn’t suit the material. Unless I’ve been completely mislead by the aforementioned promotional material — and Lord knows that never happens — I’ve a feeling that “A Chinese Fairy Tale” is going to be one to watch this year. Mark my words, dear readers. Mark my words.

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at) beyondhollywood.com.

Need to release these movies at a more steady pace. Shaolin was the last one, which feels like forever.

Nice… like the ‘oldschool’ feel of this film, hope they do it ‘right’…
