Full Trailer for Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist

Street Fighter Assassin's Fist Web Series

I still don’t know the end game for Joey Ansah’s “Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist.” Is this purely a web series that will cater to fans of the game? One of those one-and-done? It certainly feels that way. The plot, such as it is, doesn’t seem to have a lot going for it. It’s about two guys who are learning kung fu, then some guy shows up, and they fight. That’s about it. For twelve episodes? Huh. I dunno. I guess if you’re REALLY into the game, this is what you want. I think.

Anyways, check out the full trailer for “Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist” and you can decide for yourself.

A multi-layered series that looks back to the formative years of Ryu and Ken as they live a traditional warrior’s life in secluded Japan. The boys are, unknowingly, the last practitioners of the ancient fighting style known as “Ansatsuken” (Assassin’s Fist). The series follows them as they learn about the mysterious past of their master, Goken, and the tragic, dark legacy of the Ansatsuken style. Can their destiny be changed, or will history repeat itself?

Starring Mark Killeen, Togo Igawa, Joey Ansah, Mike Moh, Christian Howard, Hal Yamanouchi, Gaku Space, and Akira Koieyama.

“Assassin’s Fist” will runs as a 12-episode series on Machinima starting May 23rd.
