Check out the full trailer for Todd Phillips’ “The Hangover 2”, which from what I can gather, they’re recycling the gag from the first movie — someone goes missing during a night of partying, and the boys have to find him before the girls find out, but they can only do that by first figuring out what the hell they were up to. In this case, the “someone” is the little brother of Stu’s fiancee, played by Jamie Chung. I’d have liked to see something new, but I suppose if it’s funny enough, moviegoers will forgive them for being lazy.
In “The Hangover Part II,” Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Justin Bartha) travel to exotic Thailand for Stu’s wedding. After the unforgettable bachelor party in Las Vegas, Stu is taking no chances and has opted for a safe, subdued pre-wedding brunch. However, things don’t always go as planned. What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but what happens in Bangkok can’t even be imagined.
Starring Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Jeffrey Tambor, Mike Tyson, Justin Bartha, Ken Jeong, Liam Neeson, Jamie Chung, Mason Lee and directed by Todd Phillips.
Thailand beckons May 26, 2011.
