FX sure doesn’t waste any time! The network has just snatched TV rights for several films already in theaters including “Green Lantern” and “Mr. Popper’s Penguins”.

The news comes after the network picked up TV rights for other box-office hits including “X-Men: First Class”, “Super 8″, Disney’s “Tron: Legacy”, “The Green Hornet”, “Rango”, “The Roommate”, “Just Go with It”, “Battle: Los Angeles”, “Thor” and “The Hangover Part II”.

“Green Lantern” took the top spot at the box office this weekend when it debuted with $53.2 million.

That makes for quite a weekend line-up! They can add GL, Thor and XM:FC to the already heavy rotation of comic films that they have bombarding the air waves. Plus big blockbuster action flicks like Super 8 and Tron:Legacy and Battle:La in the mix too!
