If you’re a fan of “Glee” creator Ryan Murphy’s brand of Americana horror on TV, then here’s your Halloween treat of the day. The FX Channel has officially announced that they are renewing the show for a second season, which will be comprised of 13 more episodes similar to the first season.
“It’s one thing to have the ambition and guts to reinvent a genre in a way that makes it captivatingly fresh for a broad audience—it’s something else entirely to have the craft to back that ambition up,” said [FX Chief John Landgraf]. “Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk have hit the trifecta with Nip/Tuck, Glee and now American Horror Story, which will be scaring FX’s viewers to death for many years to come.”
Currently in its debut season, “American Horror Story”, from Murphy and Brad Falchuk, has seen its ratings climb with every episode, and still has 9 episodes left to air.
And for those who still haven’t caught on, “AHS” will show all four previous episodes in a marathon session tonight on the FX Channel.
New episodes of “American Horror Story” re-commences on Wednesday.
