The last time I watched an American soap opera was, oh, about 20 years ago, during the Summer vacation. Now I’m not saying I remember everything, but I gotta admit, soap operas can be pretty dang addictive once you start watching them. And all those wonderful cliffhangers and twists and turns! Ahem. But I digress. Emily Harper is one of the stars of “Passions”, where she plays Fancy Crane. Yes, Fancy Crane. That’s the only place that kind of name is possible — on a soap opera. I guess her character is a fancy pants. Oh ho! Get it? Nevermind.
