Actor Aaron Eckhart (”Thank You for Smoking”, “Paycheck”) joins Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight”, the sequel to “Batman Begins”. This is actually old news, as various Internet sources have been claiming this for a while now, but it’s only now that the studios have confirmed it via Variety. Eckhart would be playing Harvey Dent, a Gotham City District Attorney who ends up scarred and becomes a schizophrenic villain. The character was played twice already, once as a black man (played by Billy Dee Williams, Lando Calrissian himself) in the original “Batman”, then as a white man (played by Tommy Lee Jones) in one of Schmacher’s neon glitzy Batmans.

Aaron Eckhart is Two-Face.
