Mainstream America already thinks Hollywood celebrities are overpriced, overpaid, and overcongratulated doofuses, so whenever a gaggle of celebrity flocks to a political candidate and supports him, the guy always loses. Kerry? Gore? Anyone?
Look, here’s the deal: in small doses, mainstream America are willing to tolerate celebrities backing a certain political candidate. They don’t mind it. But when too many celebrities do it, it starts to look…bad.
Again: Kerry. Gore. Get it?
Watch your back, Al. It’s great to have celebrities on your side — just don’t tell the American people about it.
