Fangoria reports that American TV actress Allison Miller will be joining the Hong Kong-Japanese cast of the live-action version of “Blood: The Last Vampire”, based on the short anime of the same name. The film, set to star South Korean actress Jeon Ji-Hyun, will now be directed by Chris Nahon (”Kiss of the Dragon”) instead of “Fearless” director Ronny Yu as originally expected. “Blood: The Last Vampire” stars Ji-Hyun as Saya, a vampire who looks like a teen girl, whose job is to go around Japan dispatching of vampires and other demonic creatures. Despite being based on a Japanese animation and starring a Korean actress, the film will be shot in English.
