What, didn’t you demand it? Here’s the news: “Sony Pictures Home Entertainment – therefore, this is going to direct to disc – is in production on a sequel to the Steven Seagal actioner. Replacing the formerly-pony tailed martial-artist (and no, they’re not playing the same character – despite looking oh so similar…not) is wrestler Bill Goldberg. His sidekick? Kurupt, reprising his role as ‘Twitch’ from the first film…” Personally I would have just hired Seagal’s stunt double to replace the rotund former star; after all, the stunt guy shows up 70% of the time in Seagal’s current slate of direct-to-crap action movies anyways.
Too bad they killed off Nia Peeples in the first movie. She’s the only reason I’d even entertain the thought of watching this sequel to begin with. I mean, come on, Steven Seagal, Kurupt, or Nia Peeples. Right, as I thought.
