I guess being racially bullied on a TV reality show isn’t such a bad thing after all. Or at least if you’re Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, who won the UK’s version of Big Brother’s celebrity edition with 63% of the final vote after being racially targeted by fellow celebrity contestants Jade Goody, Jo O’Meara and Danielle Lloyd. Besides winning the game, Shetty has been invited to a reception to mark Commonwealth Day on March 12, where the Queen will be in attendance. She will also meet UK Prime Minister Tony Blair and other ministers at the House of Commons, Britain’s lower chamber of parliament, on February 7.
Besides all that, she’s got a thriving Bollywood career, where she has already made an astounding 50 movies in a little over 13 years. (Damn, don’t they ever sleep in Bollywood?) Here are some trivia about our Indian princess, boys: she’s 31 and still lives with her parents. Um…
