Our Brit Babe of the day, singer-songwriter Nerina Pallot has quite a pedigree. She was born in London to a French father and mother from Allahabad in India, and was brought up in Jersey. (No, not NEW Jersey.) She’s been nominated for best British Female Solo Artist in the 2007 by the BRIT Awards, the Brit version of the Grammys. Other than that, she’s not a bad looking dame for a folk singer. At least that’s the kind of music I think she does, judging by her hit song “Everybody’s Going to War”, the video of which features cabbage-throwing goths and pineapple bombs, which, as we all know, is a great way to spend a bored Friday night with the buddies.
