I liked Eli Roth’s debut film, “Cabin Fever”. It was dirty, filthy, bloody, and disgusting. You know, the perfect horror-comedy. Roth isn’t doing “Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever”, instead we get someone named Ti West, whose last few credits include “The Roost” and “Trigger Man”. Yeah, I’ve never heard of them, either. Anyways, West is directing from a script by Joshua Malkin, and the plot concerns a high school prom that becomes infected by the same flesh-eating disease that took out the first group of spam (er, I mean, characters) in the original. The only returning castmember is Rider Strong, but it’s anybody’s guess if it’s a real return or just another cameo similar to the “Jeepers Creepers” movies.
