For a young lass who looks this good with most of her clothes laying on the floor, Amber Heard sure is not getting all the recognition that she deserves. Which may explain why she’s just appeared in Maxim and FHM in the same year — it’s time to get that face and those curves out there to Joe Q. Public. And it’s not like Amber Heard’s agent hasn’t been getting her work; the girl has been in a ton of movies, from the MTV hit “Never Back Down” to the recent comedy “Pineapple Express”. She’s got even more movies coming out in 2009, including that “Stepfather” remake about the killer step-dead. Anyways, for those who still haven’t heard of Amber Heard, she’s a really hot little blonde from Texas, and give her a chance, she’ll set your crotch — er, I mean, world — on fire.

Have you heard? Amber Heard is in this month’s issue of Maxim! (Oh man, let me apologize for that. It was so lame, that I was getting the shakes just typing it. I’m sorry, guys, I’ll try to think of something better next time. And of course by “try” I mean I won’t really try.) Anyhoo. Amber Heard is a rising star in Hollywood, and is the star of a great little slasher flick call “All the Boys Loves Mandy Lane”. And why wouldn’t all the boys fond over Mandy Lane? She’s played by the gorgeous Amber Heard, after all. And oh yeah, she was also in “Never Back Down”, but come on, that was crap. Ignore it. Here’s Amber Heard in Maxim. Me likey.

All the boys love Amber Heard, or if they don’t yet, they soon will. The blonde bombshell is set to blow up — as the kids would say — big time in the movies, with the teen martial arts movie “Never Back Down” due out first in 2008, before she returns in “Pineapple Express” and later, “The Informer”. All three movies may end up sucking, but there’s little doubt that Amber Heard will be noticed, which, the Gods willing, will lead to bigger and better things, like, say, “Wild Things 4″. Have you Heard of Amber Heard Yet?
To answer my own question: No. Unless, that is, you like watching failed teen TV show, then you might have already fallen in lust with Amber Heard when she starred on the short-lived series “Hidden Palms”. But if not, you might end up falling in lust anyway when she stars in the upcoming horror movie “All the Boys Love Mandy Lane”. Amber, of course, plays the titular Mandy Lane, because let’s face it, when you’re going to call your movie that, you better have someone playing the main character who is mighty fine. And Amber Heard? She’s mighty fine, alright. If you disagree call me so I can go to you house and punch you in the face.
All the Boys Love Amber Heard
Formerly of the canceled CW show “Hidden Palms” (really, who didn’t know that show was gonna tank faster than Rosie O’Donnell at a beauty pageant?), Amber Heard is poised to become a major star, if not in mainstream Hollywood, then at least in the genre community. That is, if only the studios will just release her teen horror movie “All the Boys Love Mandy Lane” already. In the film, Amber plays a high school teen who turns all the boys’ heads; but unfortunately for her, she turns one head in particular, and the owner of said head wants her in the worst way, and he’s willing to kill everyone to get to her. Basically, it’s a star vehicle for Amber Heard, and once genre fans get a hold of her in the movie, she’ll be launching a thousand fansites.
Hidden Palm is Canceled, Amber Heard Still Hot
In case you didn’t hear, the CW has pulled the plug on their new show “Hidden Palms”, which means we won’t be seeing anymore of the hot to trot Amber Heard in nothing but a slinky two-piece bikini. Which is a damn shame, as Amber Heard in a bikini was the only reason I ever turned into the show in the first place. Hopefully Amber will find something better in the near future, but until then, here are some Amber Heard goodness to tie us fans of the lovely blonde over.
