Wasn’t it only just yesterday that lovely young Anna Paquin won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for The Piano? Remember when she bounced up onto the stage and gave that cutesy thank you? Well forget about all that stuff, because Anna Paquin is all grown up, and she’s become an incredibly lovely young woman. Here’s Anna in a fantastic white gown at an Emmys Party held by cable channel HBO. Tell me she doesn’t look like a million bucks? Forget about it. I’m going with a billion bucks. Not every child actor grows up hot, but Anna Paquin has grown up both hot and classy if these pictures are any indication. And she’s only 25, boys, there are plenty of more to come from Anna…

You know you love them; you know they’re one of the reasons why you’re a geek in the first place — the women that populates your movies and stories also happens to be girls that are waaaaaaaay out of your league. (Unless, of course, you can shoot beams out of your eyes or can sprout adamantium claws, then you ain’t getting into these women’s pants.) Anna Paquin Ditches the X-Men for Superman
Isn’t this like against the code of conduct of Hollywood or something, to appear at another big Summer Superhero Movie’s premiere when you’re in that Summer Superhero Movie’s biggest competition? Oh what am I talking about. Hollywood doesn’t have any gosh darn “code of conduct”! How silly of me. Anywhatever, here’s “X-Men: Last Stand’s” Anna Paquin at the premiere of “Superman Returns”, which is directed by the guy who used to direct Paquin in the last two “X-Men” movies.
“X-Men 3: The Last Stand” Premiere in Cannes
You know, since this was the biggest premiere in the known universe for “X-Men 3: The Last Stand”, a comic book movie with superheroes and whatnot, you’d expect a little bit more, well, mutant stuff happening at the world premiere. Where are all the cheaply-paid extras wearing ill-fitting X-men uniforms making fools of themselves for the camera? Oh well. We have Famke Janssen, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Rebecca Romijn, and everyone’s favorite beserker marauder, Hugh Jackman (aka Wolverine). They sure are purty, aren’t they? (By the way, the young girl among the hotties is Ellen Page, who plays Kitty Pryde in the movie. I think.)
