Pretty much everything she did was designed to remind you she WASN’T big sis. Then, something strange happened, and Ashlee started to look more and more like Jessica. For a while there, it was really, really weird. Now it appears as if Ashlee has once again gone her own way, and I have to say — not bad. Not bad at all. It might be after she saw Hilary Duff become a brunette, after which Ashlee probably went, “Hey, people think I’m becoming my sister Jess; I’ll show them and become Hilary Duff instead!” Because, you know, looking at Ashlee here, and considering Hilary Duff before the brunette look, I can’t tell the difference between the two. Seriously, who does Ashlee Simpson think she’s kidding? It’s been what, a year since she got a nose job? And apparently she didn’t stop there. You can see the dramatic transformation she made from “punk wannabe” to “big sister wannabe”. It’s obvious to anyone with eyes and two brain cells to rub together that Ashlee is trying, little by little, to look like big sis Jessica Simpson. In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Ashlee continues to live the lie that she’s “I loved how I looked… I’m not an insecure person, nor was I before.” Riiiiiiiiiiiight. Hence the plastic surgery. Because you love how you looked. Riiiiiiight. Wink wink.

So the Internet gossip rags are all abuzz about Ashlee Simpson’s brand spanking new nose job, which makes her look less like a, well, teen witch if I’m going to be honest (thanks, Simon for the phrase!). Ashlee still has a lot of work to do on that chin, but what the hey, fixing that pointy, crooked ass nose of hers is the first step to hotness.
