So who is happy that CBS renewed “Jericho” for a second season despite having cancelled it once already? Me me me! Because let’s face it, when you have a TV show to do, you don’t have to worry about going on TV auditions, which allows you to run to the beach whenever you can and slap on a hot looking bikini. Which is what Ashley Scott, one of the stars of “Jericho”, did this Summer. With her show guaranteed a full second year, our girl showed off a rockin’ body in a two-piece. JERICHO Gets a Second Season?

Fans of CBS’s nuke drama rejoice! It appears that CBS has renewed “Jericho” for a full second season — or at least according to the blokes over at SyFy Portal, who says, “A source tells SyFy Portal that CBS is expected to pick up “Jericho” for a second season, although it may move to a new night when fall rolls around. The show has had a tough time against competition such as “American Idol” on Fox this spring after its return, but the network has shown nothing but promise for the show, giving it a full season order when some thought it might be heading to the big one-season place in the sky.” And hey, if it turns out false, you can blame them. But for now, be happy, and don’t drink the radiation-tainted water!

JERICHO’s Ashley Scott

Before she got caught in a nuclear blast as mild-mannered country girl Emily Sullivan in “Jericho”, Ashley Scott was Batman’s illegitimate brunette crime-fighting daughter in “Birds of Prey”. (No, I am not kidding, that really was her character in the short-lived “Birds of Prey” TV series.) Anyhoo, after stints on a failed WB show and on the big screen as Jessica Alba’s bikini-clad cohort in “Into the Blue”, Ashley Scott has now found success on CBS’ nuke drama “Jericho”. I still don’t get the show, but I’ve found myself liking parts of it. Not enough to watch everyday, mind you, but enough to notice that Ashley Scott was much hotter as a brunette.
