Brit Babe Invasion: Jenna-Louise Coleman
Who is our Brit Babe Invasion girl of the day, and why does she make us tingle all over? Well her name is Jenna-Louise Coleman, and she’s an actress on a British soap opera called Emmerdale, one of those shows I never go a day without watching because, as everyone knows (and by everyone I’m also including my pet snake Spike and my imaginary friends, Fred and Ben, and their friends, Tim and Carver), I never go a day without my Emmerdale. Yum, I love me my Emmerdale. Anyhoo. Jenna-Louise Coleman hails from Blackpool, England, and besides showing off a generous cleavage in a couple of these pictures, was once nominated for Sexiest Female at the Inside Soap Awards.

Speaking of hot British girls showing up on Strictly Come Dancing, one of them is Alesha Dixon, who I have finally found out about. She’s a former member of the Brit Girl Band Mis-Teeq, and is known primarily by her first name, Alesha. You know, sort of like Madonna, except Alesha is actually British and not a pretentious hag with delusions of being British. So tune into Strictly Come Dancing if you can, because besides Kelly Brook, you now have a second hottie to ogle, and her name is Alesha Dixon. Now if they’ll only add Elizabeth Hurley to the mix…

In case you haven’t noticed, American entertainment is currently being taken over by the British. Luckily for us, it’s the British women, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. They’ve taken over our movies, our TV tubes, and now, our fake wrestling entertainment. One such woman is lovely Layla El, an English wrestling diva who originates from North Africa and found herself in the ringside of the WWE, where she plies her trade and flexes her muscles for the ECW as one of their wrestling “divas”. Basically, her job is to look good and occasionally let a fellow diva pull off her top during a “fight” in the rings — or outside. Layla El is, without a doubt, yet another good reason to watch fake wrestling.

Talk about a literal British Babe Invasion! Nowadays you can’t turn on an American TV show without seeing a British lass parlaying an excellent command of the American accent into a starring role. One such babe is Anastasia Griffith, who has used having an American father into a co-starring role on the FX Channel’s critically acclaimed show “Damages”, which stars Glenn Close as a cut-throat lawyer that goes around suing people. I think. I haven’t actually seen the show, but I hear it’s pretty bloody good, so you might want to take a look at it. And oh yeah; when you have a name like “Anastasia”, it certainly helps to be hot, and Anastasia Griffith is certainly hot.

Who is our Brit Babe Invasion girl of the day, Claire Cooper, and why should you care? Well, okay, there’s really no reason why you should care; I mean, it’s not like there’s a law forcing you to care or anything, but she is quite a hot little number, and she’s in Maxim UK, and judging by your standards, that should be enough to care. Or at least, it’s enough for us to care. And yes, in case you were wondering, Claire is a Hollyoaks girl. (Bet you saw that coming, didn’t cha?) She plays Jacqui Malota on the show, and has also appeared in “Waterloo Road” and “Coronation Street”. Here she is in Maxim UK.

According to Wikipedia, our Brit Babe of the Day, Melanie Sykes, was born to a Anglo-Burmese/Anglo-Indian mother in Mossley, Lancashire), but she’s all smoking hotness to us. Melanie first came to the public’s attention as the bikini-clad model for the Boddingtons beer ads, but she’s since parlayed that into stints on “Melanie Sykes’ Southall stories”, a documentary for BBC2 on Asian culture in Great Britain. Since then, she’s done TV stints on shows like The Vault, Celebrities Under Pressure, National Television Awards Party of the Year, and the British Soap Awards, and for a time even hosted her own show, “Today with Des and Mel”. We don’t know what she’s doing now, but may we suggest a hosting gig on American TV? We’re always looking for a hot Brit with that sexy accent over here…

Can you imagine seeing a nearly topless model in the pages of the New York Times? Or, hey, how about even the National Inquirer? The Brits figured out a way to do that Across the Pond — okay, so maybe just The Sun figured out a way to do that — namely their Page 3 girls. Nicola Tappenden is one of those girls, otherwise known as Nicole T. in her spreads for Page 3. The Bromley, London native began modeling topless for Page 3 when she was 18, which, I think, sort of makes her one of the older girls. Don’t the Brit girls start doing the Page 3 stuff waaaaaaay before their 20s? Anyhoo, Nicola Tappenden is yet another reason why the Brits’ version of newspapers rule, even if they are just tabloids.

Our British babe of the day, Katy Hill, is only 5′7″, but she sure looks taller in these pictures. Or am I thinking “bigger”? The girl certainly has bones on her, or as the kids would say, “big-boned”. Mind you, not that that has kept Katy Hill from looking hot, because if the bikini pictures below don’t convince you she belongs in everyone’s “babe” category, then everyone is a moron. (Present company excluded, of course.) Katy Hill works on British TV, and has appeared on shows like “Christmas Mania 2005″ and my personal favorite, “UK Radio Aid”, because you know, I never miss my UK Radio Aid. The only thing I like more than UK Radio is Aid, and you put them together and it’s heaven city, baby! Ahem.

Our entry into the Brit Babe Invasion for today is Big Brother UK’s Jennie Conner, who showed on the cover and pages of Zoo Magazine back in 2006, which seems like a couple of years ago. Well, it was a year ago, actually, but you know what I’m saying, right? Um, anyways. Speaking of the Big Brother program, how awful is this thing? I swear, I’ve seen some pretty bad Reality TV show concepts, but Big Brother is quite possibly the most retarded idea ever put to screen. No wonder they call TV the “Idiot Tube”. You would need to be an idiot to have come up with the idea, and then to actually WATCH it? Argh. Anyways. At least the girls on the show are hot.

Four foot eleven inches girls aren’t supposed to looks as hot as Katie Downes does, but God bless her she certainly does. And apparently those 30Ds that she’s carrying around like lethal weapons are au natural, which I don’t buy, but hey, I’m not gonna argue. If Katie Downes says her breasts are real, then by God they must be real. And if not — does it matter? I think not. Although Katie’s cameo in “Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo” didn’t translate into an actual movie career, we can only hope. Why don’t those guys at Page 3 make movies, too? What did we human beings ever did that was so good that God gave us the Hollyoaks TV series and their cornucopia of babes? Eh, I don’t know, probably nothing, but I’m sure damn glad we got it anyway. Here’s more of Jennifer Metcalfe, who plays the character Mercedes McQueen on the show. Before she landed on Hollyoaks, Jennifer was Jade Nicholls on “Emmerdale Farm”, which doesn’t have nearly the same cache as being on Hollyoaks. Besides all that, there’s not a whole lot left to say about Jennifer, except that she looks really good in skimpy lingerie. (Have I thanked whoever invented lingerie yet? I’ve always meant to. It’s that kind of the day again, when we dip across the pond to find a new British lovely to feature. This time it’s Emma Pierson, one of the stars of the BBC Channel’s new hot soap “Hotel Babylon”. I’ve been seeing promos for the show all over BBC America, and it looks more like “Sex Hotel”, if you know what I mean. Looks like a lot of people constantly getting it on on that show, which there is nothing wrong with, mind you. Except, you know, if it’s a hotel and everyone’s constantly having sex, who is running the hotel? Or the front desk? But I digress. Emma Pierson is hot. Look for more “Hotel Babylon” babes to grace our site soon enough.

She’s more like — well, she’s actually an American girl, but since she works almost exclusively in the United Kingdom, I’m going to declare that she’s a Brit Babe, even if she’s not TECHNICALLY a Brit. Hey, if you want to get all semantics about it, I’m not technically a human being, either, but I can still fool people into believing it. In any case, it’s been way too long since we’ve ignored the lovely Caprice Bourret, lingerie model, glamour model, and all-purpose hottie from around the way. Or Across the Pond, as it were. Here’s a new one: Our Brit Babe of the day, Martine McCutcheon, is an English TV actress and singer, but she actually got her show business start at the tender age of 12 doing a Kool-Aid commercial in the States. How about them apples? Well Martine McCutcheon has since returnd to Britain, where she’s enjoyed a thriving TV career, having appeared on the popular soap “EastEnders” as Tiffany Raymond, before going on to play Eliza Doolittle in the play “My Fair Lady” at London’s West End, a role that garnered her a best actress awards at the 2002 Laurence Olivier Awards. Not bad for a girl who started her career drinking bad artificial water!
