Batman Drives a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640
No, seriously, he does. Here’s the press release. (Now would they send out a press release if it wasn’t true?) “”…When he isn’t protecting Gotham City from various villains in the Batmobile as his alter ego, Batman, billionaire Bruce Wayne’s vehicle of choice is one of Lamborghini’s sexiest super sports car ever built, the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640.” See? Check out the smooth ride below. Batman, of course, chooses his in black. What self-respecting vigilante of the night wouldn’t? Sure beats the Batmobile when you’re taking a gal out on the town. More legroom for, you know, other stuff.
2008 Toyota Highlander Pictures
You know, I’m not going to start buying vans or anything, but if I did, and I had a couple of trolls to drag around (and of course by “trolls” I mean kids, what did you think I mean?), I wouldn’t mind shelling out some cash for the 2008 Toyota Highlander. Here’s Motor Trend with some specs (head on down to see pics of the 2008 Toyota Highlander from the auto show): “Available in five- or seven passenger versions, its standard engine is a 270-horsepower/249 pound-foot 3.5-liter V-6 hooked to a five-speed automatic. The 270-horsepower hybrid, introduced at the Chicago auto show, uses a 3.3-liter V-6 and electronic CVT, standard full-time four-wheel drive with intelligence, electronic brake and throttle control, and electronically controlled active steering.”
Meet the 2008 Lamborghini Reventon
Heads up, Lamborghini fans (or owners, for you lucky sonofabitches out there), because the 2008 Lamborghini Reventon is out, and it’s looking daaaaaaaaaaamn fine. I mean, hell, I don’t usually go for these exotic sports cars, but the way this thing is looking? Holy crap. It makes me want to run out and rob a bank just to go and buy one or two or maybe 10 of these things and put them up and down my street just to show them off. What a beautiful looking ride! I’m usually motorcycle man, but I could go for these babies in a heartbeat. Check out pictures from the 2008 Lamborghini Reventon below and tell me you aren’t having wet dreams about it later tonight. I dare ya.
James Bond’s New Aston Martin Car
When Daniel Craig returns on the big screen (what, 2008 or 2009? well, somewhere around there) as James Bond, he’ll be sporting a brand spanking new car — or, actually the same car, just a different model of Bond’s usual Aston Martin ride. The official name of the car is the DBS, but no one will know that unless you’re a real car freak, which I’m guessing most of you guys aren’t. Says the fine chaps at Aston Martin: “The DBS is the ultimate expression of Aston Martin’s engineering and technical ability. It offers pure performance without compromise. The DBS delivers the complete driving experience and bridges the gap between our road and track cars – the DB9 and DBR9.” Sounds good to me. Pictures of the nice ride below.
2008 Porsche 911 GT2 Pictures Will Make you Drool
Holy mother of God I want a Porsche 911 GT2. Or at least, I have just realized I do now that I’ve seen pictures of it, just released a few days ago when brochures for the car was leaked onto the Internet via Autoblog. But oh my God, how good does this car look? It looks so good you shouldn’t even call it a car. “Car” means something generic, something “uncool”. The 2008 Porsche 911 GT2 is rockin’ outrageous. So how much is this thing going to cost? Um, I don’t know, but if everyone will just send me a couple of dollars each, I’m sure I’ll be able to afford the down payment for it. And if not, I never really need that kidney anyways…
2008 Bullitt Mustang Pictures
In the 1968 movie “Bullitt”, maverick cop Steve McQueen looked so damn cool hunting down criminals in his Mustang, that the folks at Ford created the 2008 Bullitt Mustang in honor of the movie’s 40th year anniversary. This thing looks so friggin’ badass I want to run out and grab one right now. (The movie, I mean. I can’t afford the car, are you nuts? I can’t even afford a tricycle right now!) Pictures of the 2008 Bullitt Mustang coming soon to a showroom near you below. It looks sweet, right? Not crazy about the color, but I’m sure they’ll be choices…
