Like I said when I heard the title: calling your movie “Young People Fucking” is a double edged sword. On the one hand, you get a lot of people looking at it a second time, but on the other hand you got a lot of avenues closed to you. Videostores might not carry a movie with a title like that, which means a lot of people will be denied seeing Carly Pope in her bra and panties. I’ve seen some of the movie, and it looks like a comedy, so nothing too gratuitous, I would imagine, but definitely some, well, young people doing what young people do, which is not playing chest on a Friday night. I’d Worship Carly Pope

Carly Pope has been doing movies for a while now, but unfortunately for her, they’ve been Canadian movies, and let’s face it, the only people in the world who watches Canadian movies are Canadians, and even they try to avoid it as much as possible. But Carly’s fame is definitely about to get a major boost, because she’s scheduled to appear in the seventh season of FOX’s 24, playing Samantha Roth, the girlfriend of the President’s son. Who would have thunk it would take a role on 24 to finally bring Carly to the mainstream, and not the indie movie “Young People F–king”? Yes, that’s an actual title of an actual movie. Strange, I wonder why it didn’t catch on…

Carly Pope Joins 24’s Season 7

The upcoming seventh season of FOX’s aging action-adventure show 24 keeps on rolling, this time announcing that Canadian actress Carly Pope has join the cast as the girlfriend of the show’s female President’s son, who apparently has gone missing. I’m guessing the dude just went for a ride or something, or maybe got mugged when he went to the “cities” for some grass. But I could be wrong. The first time I noticed Carly Pope was for a movie called “Nemesis Game” with that guy from Highlander. It was okay, but man, Carly Pope sure was purty in it. Besides that movie, she’s guest-starred on Tru Calling, Dirt, and a ton of Canadian movies and TV shows I’ve never seen. Check her out in 24 coming soon.
