I actually first heard about this on the news (so you know it has to be true, ahem), that some Chinese company was promoting a miraculous “slimming patch” that claims you can slap the patch on the part of your body that you want to lose wait from, wait a few days, and then the patch (called “America Seven-Point Thinness”) would “miraculously” suck away the fat. Um, yeah. They also claim that the patch comes from America, and that one of their clients was Chelsea Clinton, who lost “12 kilograms in less than a month” thanks to the magical patch. As it turns out, this was a Chinese scam, as the patches are made and comes from a part of China itself.
