At one point in time, Christina Milian was supposed to be the next great pop star. Even before anyone knew who she was (or the public at large anyways) she was in a big-time Hollywood movie and had an album coming out. Or maybe it was the other way around. Well the point is, she was primed to be the next big thing, but somewhere along the way, it just didn’t work out. I don’t know anyone who has ever heard a Christina Milian song, and I can’t recall the last time she was in a movie playing the lead, if she ever did. Point is, Christina Milian seems to have disappeared after a promising start, but maybe this latest appearance in King Magazine will change all that. Probably not, but I ain’t complainin’.

Christina Milian in a bikini is pretty good stuff, especially when the weather outside is really outrageous. I mean, seriously, I thought Al Gore was telling me the whole world was getting warmer. I call bullshit on you, Al Gore, because it’s cold as hell outside my house, you bastard. But I digress. Here’s R&B singer/actress Christina Milian doing the two-piece bikini thing at the beach and at the pool. Okay, I don’t know what she’s doing at the pool, but the whole beach bikini stuff is really good stuff, and if you say differently you need a punch in the face. Anyhoo, completely wanton violence not withstanding, Christina Milian in a bikini is so good stuff I might have a stroke just looking at it.

Remember when singer/actress Christina Milian was supposed to be the next big thing? Her people managed to get her into every high-profile gig they could a few years ago, but she just never quite stuck. She was a decent actress, but never really stood out; and she was a decent singer, but I don’t think anyone ever ran to the store to pick up a Christina Milian CD, which may explain why she’s never quite burst out onto the American consciousness the way people were expecting her to. Earlier, Christina Milian had a TV show, but I think it’s either been canceled or something has happened to it. Anyways, we still like Christina Milian, if only because she’s what the kids call hot.

You remember her, Anna Chlumsky. You know, the one from “My Girl”? The movie that was memorable because (besides being a pretty good teen movie) it featured that brat Macaulay Culkin dying? Yeah, we all loved that one. I mean, come on, who didn’t want to do in that punk ass ever since those “Home Alone” movies? Anyways, Anna Chlumsky is all grown up now (she’s 27!), and has a new TV series called “Eight Days a Week”, which was just picked up by the CW Network as a mid-season replacement. That means there is no guarantee it’ll be back, but it also means it has no expectations to meet.

Not satisfied with making movies, singing, and constantly haunting my fantasies, Christina Milian is launching her TV pilot career on the fledgling CW network. The series will be called “Eight Days a Week”, and co-stars “Dancing with the Stars” guy Mario Lopez. The project revolves around four twentysomethings who work under the top movers and shakers in New York. Lopez will play one of the bosses, an impeccably dressed wunderkind with a cell phone attached to his ear. Milian will play one of the assistants, a beautiful, young woman who left behind a law career to start over as a receptionist/gofer at an art gallery.

I will confess that I have never heard Christina Milian sing. I’ve seen her on stage performing, but I never actually bothered to listen to the songs. And frankly, I don’t think anyone has heard Christina sing either, judging by the lack of her musical talent’s popularity. Then again, when you have this kind of body and face, and the willingness to flaunt them, I’m not sure if singing ability has anything to do with it. Look at Britney Spears pre-fat ass.

There’s nothing like a good ol fashion remake of a Japanese horror movie to bring out the Hollywood babes. In the movie “Pulse”, ghostly spirits try to make their way back into the land of the living using shadows, the Internet (I knew that Internet was up to no good!), and washing machines. And the only thing that can stop them is red tape over doors and the combined powers of Kirsten Bell and Christina Milian’s washboard abs. I like our chances! Taking in the Los Angeles premiere of the horror flick were stars Kirsten Bell, Christina Milian, Alana Curry, Sofia Milos, Olivia Munn, Erin Cummings, Julie Gonzalo, Sarah Carter, Katie Lohman, and Arielle Kebbel. “Pulse” opens today at a theater nearest you.

Hot chicks love horror movies. Or at least, they love getting paid big bucks to star in Hollywood horror movies that are remakes of Japanese horror movies. Either/or. Here’s Kristen Bell and Christina Milian (who disappointly doesn’t show any abs; what a gyp) promoting their upcoming hopefully-it’s-not-teen-centric horror movie “Pulse” at Planet Hollywood. The original was a masterpiece of mood, inevitability, and senseless horror; I’m guessing the remake will be CGI and have a lot of screaming. Oh well.

So T-Mobile is launching their new T-Mobile Sidekick 3 (which I hear is sidekickier than the previous 2) and of course they’re “launching” it with a party and inviting a buttload of hot celebrities to join the fun and get free T-Mobile swag. And of course, the babes came in droves, since as we all know, the only thing hot Hollywood babes love more than guys with great personality and a sense of humor and who likes quiet walks on the beach is free cellphone shit.
