Dido’s Safe Trip Home Album Promos
Dido Armstrong (just Dido to her friends, and the millions of people who have bought her CDs over the years) has a pretty good voice. Okay, that’s underselling it. Dido Armstrong has a friggin awesome voice. I could go to sleep listening to that voice. And the songs aren’t bad, either, not that I listen to chick songs, mind you. Ahem. I’m way too masculine for that. Just ask all the girls I bang on a daily basis. Yeah, that’s the ticket. Anyhoo, Dido’s got a new album coming out, “Safe Trip Home”, which is due out next month. No doubt it’ll be a great collection of songs. Not, ahem, that I would ever know, because I won’t be buying it. I listen to, like, heavy metal and stuff like that, being the manly man and all. Ahem. Some promos of Dido for “Safe Trip Home”.
Dido Armstrong Appreciation Post
You gotta wonder if Dido Armstrong ever thought about going by the name “Dido” and thinking, “Ooooh, I don’t wanna do that,” because, you know, Dido sounds a lot like, well, you know. But you also gotta give the girl respect for not only going with her real name, but just going by Dido ALONE. Now that takes guys. I mean, hell, I don’t even have an embarrassing name, but I’m still embarrassed by it, mostly because I have this very unnatural ability to be embarrassed by just about anything. But I digress. This is a Dido Armstrong appreciation posting, so appreciate her, you bastards!
Oh Dido
While there is plenty of ways to turn UK singer Dido’s name into something, let’s just say, unclean, there’s no doubt that this is one talented young lass. Most people first noticed her when Eminem (Slim Shady himself) sampled her song “Thank You” and turned what was an uplifting melody into the nihilistic and violent “Stan”, but I first noticed her when I heard her song “Here With Me” on her 1999 debut album “No Angel”. Besides being vastly talented, she’s also not a bad looker, so that’s always a plus. If you haven’t gotten into the angelic voice of Dido Armstrong yet, you are missing out big time.
