I’ve posted pictures of British actress Emily Blunt before, but I don’t think I’ve really fully appreciated what kind of smoking hotness she has going on. But don’t worry, kids, because this latest appearance in GQ Magazine is going to change all that. It’s not like Emily Blunt is nude here, or half naked, or anything like that; okay, she’s somewhat half-naked, but it’s just the smoldering good looks, the “Kate Beckinsale Level” of hotness that shines right through. If Emily Blunt doesn’t end up being one of the most famous actresses out there in a few years, Hollywood is just plain stupid.

I didn’t even know who Emily Blunt was until a few months ago, and now it seems like I can’t go a day without hearing about Blunt being in a new movie. There was that whole rumor about Blunt replacing Katie Holmes in the upcoming “Batman Begins” sequel, but that proved false when it was announced Maggie “Creepy Girl” Gyllenhaal had already nabbed the replacement role. But don’t cry for Blunt, she’s got a ton of movies coming up, including the horror movie “Wind Chill”, which the producers/writers told Sci Fi Wire is their homage to Japanese horror films. Hmm, I don’t know if it’s such a good idea to be doing homages to tired genres, but what do I know, I just sit in my underwear and write about movies.

According to Cinema Blend, the Powers That Be at Warner Brothers are very keen to have British lass Emily Blunt (”Gideon’s Daughter”) step into the high heels left behind when Katie Holmes “left” (*cough*was fired*cough*) the “The Dark Knight”, which, according to reports, is already shooting in Chicago under an assumed name or some silly thing like that. Blunt would play the same role that Holmes played, that of crusading Gotham City Assistant District Attorney Rachel Dawes. This is, of course, just rumor, and probably nothing will come off it. Probably. But you know, if this is true, I’m pretty sure Gary Oldman is going to be the only American actor left in the entire cast. Take that for what you will.
