I’ve always loved Emmanuelle Vaugier. She’s got that look that just makes her stand out, and there’s that thing she does with her lips via some kind of smile or smirk or a combination of both that drives me nuts. She is, bar none, one of the most gorgeous women on the planet, and it’s a shame Emmanuelle Vaugier is not more famous than she currently is. She’s done more than enough movies to be famous, but alas, those films were primiarly B-movies like the recent zombie flick “House of the Dead 2″ and now, the upcoming Uwe Boll movie “Far Cry”. She needs to stay away from Uwe Boll, but other than that, Emmanuelle Vaugier will destined for greatness — if only in my dreams.

Kristanna Loken is Painkiller Jane in New Series
Painkiller Jane was supposed to be a Sci Fi Original TV series back in 2005, when the TV movie starring Emmanuelle Vaugier as the titular character debuted. For whatever reason, it appears that Vaugier is out, and Kristanna Loken (”T3: Rise of the Machines”) is in, with the Sci Fi Channel ordering a full season’s worth of episodes (22 in all) for Sring 2007 debut, so say Variety. Based on a comic book of the same name, the series will follow “Jane Vasko, a DEA agent recruited by a covert government org tasked with capturing genetically enhanced individuals. When she discovers that she has her own set of powers — she’s impervious to injury, but not pain — Jane begins to search for what caused her transformation and her own connection to the people she pursues.”
