Famke Janssen in Thriller 100 FEET

Via Fangoria, here are some more details about former “X-Men” star Famke Janssen’s upcoming horror/thriller “100 Feet”. The movie revolves Janssen’s character, a woman who, in an act of self-defense, murders her abusive police-officer husband. Convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to house arrest, Janssen finds her problems further compounded by her husband’s ex-NYPD partner, who waits diligently for her to break her parole, and the arrival of her vengeful ghost of a hubbie, who’s on scene to wreak supernatural havoc within the domicile.

“X-Men 3’s” Famke Janssen is in the Brazilian magazine Romano, which I’m assured has nothing to do with the guy who stars in “Everybody Loves Raymond”, but I could be wrong. If you’re a comic book geek, then you probably caught Famke’s latest turn as Dark Phoenix in the third part of the “X-Men” movie, “The Last Stand”. Reviews haven’t been great, but not terrible, either. And judging by the box office numbers, the geek were out in force this weekend!

“X-Men 3: The Last Stand” Premiere in Cannes

You know, since this was the biggest premiere in the known universe for “X-Men 3: The Last Stand”, a comic book movie with superheroes and whatnot, you’d expect a little bit more, well, mutant stuff happening at the world premiere. Where are all the cheaply-paid extras wearing ill-fitting X-men uniforms making fools of themselves for the camera? Oh well. We have Famke Janssen, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Rebecca Romijn, and everyone’s favorite beserker marauder, Hugh Jackman (aka Wolverine). They sure are purty, aren’t they? (By the way, the young girl among the hotties is Ellen Page, who plays Kitty Pryde in the movie. I think.)
