Your Weekend Send-off: Freido Pinto

At this point Freido Pinto’s career will either take off like a rocket or come crashing down to Earth after the whole “Slumdog Millionaire” thing dies down. I can’t tell which way it’ll go, but I do know one thing: even if her career doesn’t hit the motherlode, Freido Pinto will still be the hottest spicy curry to ever hit the big screen. Danny Boyle’s “Slumdog Millionaire” was an okay movie with some great visuals, but at the end of the day, it ain’t “Aliens”, know what I mean? The best thing about the movie was Freida Pinto. Now I’m not saying I have developed something of an unhealthy obsession with Freida Pinto, but I’m not saying that I’m NOT not developing an unhealthy obsession with Freida Pinto. In that light, here are some great shots of the gorgeous Freida Pinto from the movie. Trust me, buy this movie on DVD, it’ll be worth it. Just fast-forward to all the scenes with Freida Pinto. Jai Ho Music Video from Slumdog Millionaire

Speaking of Freida Pinto and “Slumdog Millionaire” (remember we were just talking about them?), here’s the music video “Jai Ho” from the movie. As we all know, the word “Jai Ho” means “Dude, where’s my loaf of bread? You didn’t steal it, did you?” Because, you know, the movie is about the slums of India, and how everyone there is a thief. Or something like that. Look, it won like a gazillion Oscars. That’s gotta count for something, right? Better than winning none, I suppose. Anyways, here’s that insanely catchy video for “Jai Ho” starring Freida Pinto and those other people. Baila! Baila! Indeed.

The Complexity of Freida Pinto’s Hotness

It’s nice to be in a movie that wins every award imaginable at the Oscars. Or it seems that way for “Slumdog Millionaire”, a movie where the incredibly smoking hot Freida Pinto played the object of the leading character’s love, lust, and everything in between. And can you blame the kid? Check out Freida Pinto in the latest issue of Complex magazine. Not sure how Freida Pinto is going to do in Hollywood, but God willing, it’ll be a long career. Or if it’s short, then please, God, let it be in something that has the words “erotic” and “thriller” in it. Pretty please?

Slumming with Freida Pinto

Like movies? Like movies about Indian slums? Then you were probably a pig in sloth during Danny Boyle’s “Slumdog Millionaire.” I myself haven’t seen the movie, since I’m not that big on movies about slums, but particularly Indian slums. Nothing against slums or Indians, mind you, as I think Freida Pinto, one of the stars of “Slumdog Millionaire”, is pretty awesome stuff. The model turned actress will probably get a lot of job offers in Hollywood with the success of the movie, and if not, I got a pretty good idea for a movie she can audition for. It’s called Casting Couch, and it’s in my basement. Call me, Freida! Here’s Freida Pinto in Arena.
