If you’ve ever worked in an office at least a day in your life, then you pretty much look at Mike Judge’s 1999 office-themed comedy “Office Space” as THE movie to end all movies when it comes to working in an office setting. It’s not just a brilliant movie because it’s funny, but because it’s true. Of course, I never pulled a caper ala something from a “Superman” movie, but then again, there has been many a times when I’ve wanted to put a hole or two into a company property like that fax machine that never seems to work, the copying machine that always seems to jam when I need it most, or that damn computer that refuses to boot before I grow old and die. Here’s the two best moments from Judge’s “Office Space”, in which three office geeks pull off the perfect caper, and then later, destroys a printer in a field. When David Herman’s character goes after the printer with his bare fists? Priceless.

The blokes over at Cracked.com has a list of the Top 5 Best Movie Batman ever, which basically means you get to count down from 5 to 2 before you land with Christian Bale at #1. Hey, I’m not ruining anyone’s surprise here; anyone with an ounce of brain knows that Christian Bale was the best Batman EVER. But as always, the reason why Cracked’s stuff is worth reading is because it’s just frakkin’ funny. So head over there now and read about the reasons for George Clooney’s Batman sporting Bat Nipples. Frakkin’ Joel Schumacher…

Some took a major chance by slipping on the leotard (or in some cases, took off the clothes) for their role, and others, well, it was supposed to be a major break that never materialized into one. However it turned out, if you were a comic book fan and always fantasized what your favorite comic book babes would look like in flesh and blood and played by a named actress, then this Geek Love list is for you. And we’re not going to cheat, too. No videogame heroines like Lara Croft or Charlize Theron as Aeon Flux. Just comic book movie hotties. Here, then, are our Top 10 Comic Book Movie Babes, starting with #10…

You know you love them — girls that are so bad, and so good at being bad, that they’re downright sexy. Oh sure, they can probably snap your neck with just their thighs, or karate chop you in the throat, but come on, when you gotta go, you gotta go, right? And why not go at the hands (or thighs) of a hottie with a body to die for? Here, then, are some of the most babelicious bad girls to ever grace the cinema screens. (And no, there is no Grace Jones in here. If you want Grace Jones to be here, you really, really need therapy. Seriously, look for a doctor right now.)

In case you missed it, tonight was the season 1 finale of NBC’s only hit of the year, “Heroes”. Will Sylar defeat everyone? Can Peter control his powers and not nuke New York City? Will Ali Larter take off her clothes and strip again? One can only hope — on all three accounts. Then again, who cares what happens to NYC, I’d just like more Ali Larter stripping, please. Let’s face it, one of the only reasons to watch “Heroes” is for the girls. Sure, the show is cool and get-all, but the girls are just deliciously babelicious. Our latest installment of Geek Love is dedicated to the babes of “Heroes”.

Just because in the future the human race is facing extinction and are being pursued by killer cyborgs of their own making, it doesn’t necessarily preclude sexy babes from showing off. Such is the case of the Sci Fi Channel’s “Battlestar Galactica”, currently considered the greatest TV show ever invented by man EVER. Or some other high accolade that it probably doesn’t really deserve, especially after just three years on the air. But whatever. We’re here to give love to the girls of BSG, and that’s what we’re gonna do. (And yes, there is as reason Mary McDonnell is on the list…)

You know you love them; you know they’re one of the reasons why you’re a geek in the first place — the women that populates your movies and stories also happens to be girls that are waaaaaaaay out of your league. (Unless, of course, you can shoot beams out of your eyes or can sprout adamantium claws, then you ain’t getting into these women’s pants.) But hey, you don’t have to, because we’ve compiled for you the Women of the “X-Men” films. And yes, this will be a regular column from now on.
