Gemma Arterton who? That was probably your reaction before you found out that Gemma Arterton had been cast in the latest Bond movie, the awfully titled installment called “Quantum of Solace”. (Tell me you don’t want to hit yourself in the face having to say that thing out loud.) Using the Bond casting as a launching pad, here’s Gemma Arterton in the latest issue of Arena Magazine. Love the girl, hate the black and white photography. But what the hell, you gotta take what you can get, right? Since the other Bond girl in the movie is Olga Kurylenko, and she likes to do the nekkid thing, I’m guessing Gemma won’t be showing off the birthday suit in the body, which is a damn bloody shame.

Olga Kurylenko and Gemma Arterton in Quantum of Solace

The guys making the latest Bond movie, Bond 22, aka “Quantum of Solace” (yeah, what a stupid name, I hate it, too) have released pictures of their two latest Bond girls. They’re off Olga Kurylenko and Gemma Arterton. Olga will be playing Bond’s love interest, the “mysterious” Camille, while Gemma will be playing Agent Fields, who I am assuming is a fellow MI6 agent. (Bond works for MI6, in case you don’t know.) I’m waiting for more killer pictures, but right now seeing the two women in the upcoming movie is good enough. Check it out: Quantum of Solace with Olga Kurylenko and Gemma Arterton. (I would have included a picture of Judi Dench, who is also in the movie, but, um, this ain’t the AARP site.)

New Bond Girl #2: Gemma Arterton

Speaking of the latest Bond Girls, another Bond Girl casting is British actress Gemma Arterton, who while her role in the movie will not nearly be as prominent as Olga Kurylenko’s, the other Bond girl casting, this should nevertheless give a major boost to her career once Bond 22 hits the big screens. You can basically have a role as a bus boy in the Bond movies and still be able to say you were in a Bond movie, and hence, gain fame and fortune and really hot girls in tiny two-piece bikinis. Okay, maybe not the last part. Or the first. Or the third. But you know, something like that. So who is Gemma Arterton? Let’s see for ourselves, shall we?
