Megan Fox Knows How to Lose Friends and Alienate People and Look Smoking Hot Doing It

11 July 2008

The new movie “How to Lose Friends & Alienate People” is based on a book by some guy name Toby Young, and co-stars Megan Fox, Kirsten Dunst, and Gillian Anderson as three hotties doing stuff in the movie. Um, I don’t know, I never read the book, and the idea behind the movie doesn’t exactly sound like I’m gonna be paying full price to see it in theaters. Or on DVD. Or when it shows up on free TV. Then again, that was before I saw this great picture of Megan Fox from the movie, wearing a cleavage-heavy dress and no bra, thus revealing — er, well, you can see for yourself. Does Megan Fox’s character feel nippy throughout the movie? One can only hope. (By the way, how plain does Kirsten Dunst look next to Megan Fox? Wow.)

Gillian Anderson in Esquire

7 July 2008

You know, I’m almost certain that the latest X-Files movie is gonna suck. Why? Well, it took them years to finally get the damn thing made, and what do they do? They leave out the aliens. I mean, it’s not like they forgot about the aliens, but they PURPOSELY left out the damn aliens. That’s like me making a bio movie on Rosie O’Donnell and for some reason neglect the subplots about cheesecakes and pies. It just ain’t right, man! Anyways, even if the X-Files sequel does end up sucking the big donkey balls, then at least we can thank it for bringing Gillian Anderson back to us. How good does she look in this spread for Esquire? Alien chasing MILFs have never looked hotter.

Gillian Anderson in X-Files 2 Promos

4 July 2008

The last time we saw Mulder and Scully, the two paranormal investigators with FBI badges, they were in a hotel somewhere doing something to each other. I think. Look, the fact is, I tune out of the show way before the series finale, so I really haven’t a clue what happened at the end, since I saw it a long time ago, and to be honest with you, it wasn’t that good, and I didn’t pay much attention. But anyhoo, the X-Files are back in a new movie, and that means Gillian Anderson is back. Oh yeah, that David Duchovney guy is back, too, but who cares about him, am I right? Gillian Anderson is looking mighty fine in these X-Files 2 promos. Yes, even when she’s all bundled up in a thick ass jacket.

Age has Done Wonders for Gillian Anderson

29 May 2008

Okay, I’m not saying Gillian Anderson is an old broad or anything, but I think people forget that when she first showed up on TV on the X-Files way back in 1993 she was just 25 years old, although she had the type of face that made her look a bit older than she really was. Of course, it didn’t help that she mostly spent the show wearing those long trenchcoats and looking like a fuddy duddy. A really hot fuddy duddy, mind you, but you know, she never looked half as good as she does now, such as in these pictures from Cannes. Check out some of Gillian Anderson circa 2008, and compare her to her 90s self, and you’ll agree — age has turned Gillian Anderson into a babe.

Gillian Anderson in Maxim

14 April 2008

So what happened to Gillian Anderson? For a time there, about 5 years or so, she was the hottest thing on TV. This very smart FBI agent chick who fought aliens and mutants and evil FBI guys. Then Gillian Anderson sort of disappeared when the show was cancelled. She went to the UK to find work, and now she’s back in the U.S. in the “X-Files” movie sequel. Now to be honest with you, I could do without a sequel to a movie, and I’m guessing so will a lot of moviegoers. I don’t think this thing is going to do a whole lot of business, but as long as it gives us more Gillian Anderson, and more spreads like this one by her in Maxim, I’m all for it.

Gillian Anderson Looking Wonderful at WonderCon

27 February 2008

Thank God they’re finally getting “The X-Files 2″ into production. No, not because I’m dying to see the sequel or anything (I could do without), but it sure is nice to see Gillian Anderson back on U.S. soil, isn’t it? Here she is at the WonderCon over the weekend. WonderCon, in case you don’t know, is a geeks-only convention for, well, geeks, and where movie and TV people flock to once a year to pander to the geeks in question. For you see, if you have a sci-fi or fantasy TV show/movie, you want those geeks to want to see your stuff, because let’s face it, only geeks go to see movies more than once in the theaters, and only geeks are able to watch your shows every week on TV because, uh, well, they don’t have dates. But nevermind all that. Gillian Anderson. At WonderCon. Gorgeous.

The X-Files and Gillian Anderson Are Back!

2 November 2007

Do you hear that? That’s the sounds of geeks everywhere jumping with joy at the news that The X-Files 2 has been greenlit by the studio for production, with the sequel set for a 2008 release. That means Gillian Anderson will be flying back from England, where she’s been plying her trade these last few years, to star once again in an American Hollywood movie alongside her TV co-star David Duchovney. Plus, Chris Carter, the guy who created the show in the first place, is also back to write and direct the movie sequel. I’m telling you, the stars are aligning for the geeks of the world. Now remember, you geeks, when the movie is released you better go out and see it! Just tell your mom you’re going out for a Subway sandwich or something.

The “X-Files” Movie Sequel is FINALLY a Go. Right?

4 April 2007

So after a lot of fits and starts, stops and gos, then stutters and futters — well, you get the idea — word comes from on top (well, from David Duchovny, anyway) that the “X-Files” movie sequel is finally a go. IMDB.com says: “…X-Files creator Chris Carter and writer Frank Spotnitz are busy working on a script for the new film. The news comes after weeks of speculation surrounding Anderson’s involvement in the project. Duchovny says, “This week, they’re starting some kind of road towards doing it (the film). Gillian and I both want to be in it now. We’re happy to do it. At this point all of the kind of fatigue and anxiety that we had towards the end of a nine-year run is gone.” Sounds like a plan to me.

Gillian Anderson in “Straightheads” Images, Trailer

18 March 2007

Gillian Anderson ditches aliens and Fox Mulder for Danny Dyer (”Severance”) and a telescopic rifle in “Straightheads”, a Brit thriller about a middle class couple (Anderson and Dyer) whose life is turned upside down when they are assaulted one night while coming home from a party. She gets gang raped and he loses an eye, and now it’s all about cold, bloody vengeance. The film is written and directed by Dan Reed, and should hit British theaters well before making its U.S. premiere, most likely on DVD where Gillian Anderson fans, still rabid for Dana Scully after all this years, will grab it off the shelves by the buttload. Images from the movie and trailer on the flip side…

Gillian Anderson Has Escaped Alien Captivity!

2 June 2006

Thank God! I was about to launch a search party for the former “X-Files” star, since she’s been missing for so long. In fact, I gave David Duchovny a call to see if he’d join us in our most desperate, but heroic expedition, but I couldn’t find him, either! Aliens! Surely they’re to blame! But apparently not. Here’s Gillian Anderson resurfacing at the Viktor & Rolf Fragrance Flowerbomb launch party. She still looks pretty damn good, too. No wonder I had a mad crush on her during her “X-Files” days…

Mulder, is That My Sequel?

23 March 2006

The “X-Files” feature length film sequel. Will it ever happen? At this point the answer seems to “No”, even though all the major players (stars, creator, etc.) have said they really, really want to do it. The studio, the one footing the bill, is the one saying no. Personally I think they’re just holding out until Anderson and David Duchovny gets too old to play the roles, so they can give it to some punks from the UPN or WB. Anyways, here’s Gillian quite good. It’s not a sequel to “The X-Files”, but it’s the closest you kids are gonna get today.

Gillian Anderson Needs a Job

18 March 2006

Seriously. Look at this new photoshoot the former “X-Files” star (hey, does that make her an ex-X-files star? Har har) just did for John Stoddart. She looks, literally, wide-eyed, probably wondering what’s happened to her career. Should never have let them cancelled “The X-Files”, Gillian! These pictures still look kinda sexy; but then again, I’ve always found Gillian Anderson to be strangely sexy.

Gillian Anderson

18 January 2006

A large stack of old Gillian Anderson pics. Now I really hate to call these “old”, because that insinuates Gillian is also old, which she isn’t. The woman is very much still in her prime, it’s just her career that’s old and dead. Um.

Gillian Anderson in FHM Magazine 1996

18 January 2006

An oldie but goodie, if you will. Here is Gillian Anderson’s fantastic FHM spread from 1996. You know, 1996? Back when “The X-files” was still on, and Gillian and co-star David Duchovny was the hottest duo in the known universe? Heck, even aliens wanted them, and so did we! Well, that was back in 1996…
