So hot that I don’t even mind the fact that I can see her ribs. Which usually freaks me out when I can see a girl’s ribcage, but for some reason, I don’t mind it here. You may or may not have seen Aussie pop singer Holly Valance showing up on American TV. Or you might have seen a very nice looking blonde (or brunette), and it didn’t quite register that it was her. Well you need to pay more attention, schmucks, because Holly Valance has been making inroads into Hollywood, starting with a starring role in last year’s “DOA: Dead or Alive”, a co-starring role in the upcoming Liam Neeson movie “Taken” (hence the post title, ahem), and quite a few guest appearances on TV shows like Shark, Moonlight, CSI: New York, and of course, her breakthrough, as a Russian hottie in Prison Break. And oh yeah, did I mention she’s showcased in the current issue of FHM? What, I didn’t? Well, I always meant to.

I’m really not sure why the powers that be (re: whoever has the film’s rights) hasn’t released Holly Valance’s “DOA” movie yet. I think it’s coming out very soon, but I’m shocked they haven’t released it earlier. Sure, “DOA” isn’t exactly Shakespeare, but it’s still very good for what it is, and what it is is a kick-ass, chicks-kick-ass movie filled to the brim with some of the hottest chicks working in the movie biz today. One of them is Holly Valance, who I have posted pictures of her from the movie before, so this is just more of the same. Lovely woman, lovely body, and kicks ass like no one’s business. Sounds like my perfect woman!
Holly Valance Joins Maggie Grace in “Taken”

First Maggie Grace got roped to star in the upcoming Luc Besson picture “Taken”, and now Aussie babe Holly Valance will be joining the cast. This via MovieHole: “The Pierre Morel directed pic tells of a ex-soldier (Liam Neeson) who discovers his daughter (Maggie Grace) has been kidnapped by slave masters (sorry, nothing about ‘sex’ slaves in the synopsis here) in Europe. No word if Valance is the one holding the whip… or taking a whip.” Heh, I kinda like that last line.

Not satisfied with just coming up with very lame, barely justifable reasons to post pictures of really hot women, we’ve decided to create a “Girl of the Month” feature, whereby a new woman is chosen for us to fixate and obsess with for all of that month. Now I know October is nearly over (hey, I can’t help it if I’m lame and it takes me forever to come up with these brilliant ideas), but our first Girl of the Month for October 2006 is none other than Aussie babe Holly Valance, who has a recurring role on TV’s “Prison Break” and will soon be seen in the chicks kick ass flick “Dead or Alive” in theaters soon.

Episode 203 of “Prison Break’s” second season re-introduces salivating fans to Australian pop singer/actress/all-around hottie Holly Valance, who showed up in the previews for the episode entitled “Scan”. Michael and the prison break gang are still on the run from the cops, including a Supercop Psychic Creepy Ass FBI Agent who might be smarter than Michael — or maybe he really is psychic. But enough of “Prison Break” — here’s Holly Valance fogging up the joint in Arena Magazine. Hot enough for ya, Holly? By the way, Holly will also be hitting the big screen soon in “Dead or Alive”, so keep an eye out, Hollifiles.

Okay, here’s the thing. I’m pretty sure that Corey Yuen’s ass-kicking spectacular “Dead or Alive” (or as the kids call it, “Dead or Alive”) is going to suck — movie-wise. As in, it’ll probably not make a whole lot of sense, the script will be filled with the kind of bad dialogue that makes you want to slice off your ears — er, what was I saying? Oh, right. Despite all that, your eyes will be happy, and so will something, um, much lower. So don’t hesitate, kids, run and check out “DOA” when it opens. Here are some posters to keep you busy in the meantime. Violence + hot chicks = genius marketing.

Our favorite Aussie Holly Valance won’t be returning to the small screen in “Prison Break” just yet (if her character comes back at all, that is), but soon she’ll be making her big screen American debut in the videogame-to-movie film not directed by Uwe Boll called “D.O.A.”, aka “Dead or Alive”. The whole shebang is directed by Hong Kong action director Corey Yuen, which bodes well for the film. Yuen knows how to make hot women do hot action and make it look all, er, hot onscreen. The supremely hot women of “D.O.A.” arrives September 8th, but since this is a PG-13 movie, expect only a lot of teasing, and no follow-through.

“Dead or Alive” is a movie about three very hot chicks from three countries gathering on an island to play volleyball in skimpy bikinis and fight kung fu matches to the death. Or is it fight kung fu matches to the death and then play volleyball. Oh well, whatever. It has hot chicks like Holly Valance, Jaime Pressly, and Devon Aoki, and what should be great kung fu thanks to Corey Yuen, who has already done the three-chicks-fight movie before with the Hong Konger “So Close”.
