Jenifer Bartoli is a Nice Looking Girl from Nice

21 January 2009

Jenifer Bartoli, or as she’s known in France, simply Jenifer (kinda like how I’m only known in certain parts of the country as “Awesome”, but that’s another story), has sold records and made hits out the wazoo in France and parts of Swiss, and you’ve probably never heard of her. And why should you? You don’t speak French, or Swiss, or whatever it is they speak in Switzerland. I’m guessing some weird Mongolian langauge, but don’t hold me to it. Anyhow. So Jenifer Bartoli is someone you’ve never heard of, but you probably would like to know more after seeing these pictures of her. May I suggest using this new fandangled thing the kids call Google? But first, hot pictures.

French Appreciation Day: Jenifer Bartoli

18 November 2008

If all my years of watching Mel Gibson movies have taught me anything (and really, they’ve never done me wrong before), it’s that we owe the French for helping us win the Revolutionary War against those tea-drinking Englishmen. (Then again, Mel did tell me it was perfectly okay to be crazy as a loon and still run around with a gun ala the “Lethal Weapon” movies, so maybe I should rethink this… But I digress.) So according to Mel, if not for the French, we wouldn’t have won the war against the English. Because of that, I’d like to start a new trend on the site: French Appreciation Day, which will include one Frenchwoman in each posting. Yes, just a Frenchwoman, no Frenchmam. Why? Because I’m totally hetero, that’s why. Duh. Anyways, here’s Jenifer Bartoli to kick things off. I hear she’s a singer. Or such. Love the snake.

Random Foreign Babe of the Day: Jenifer Bartoli

6 December 2007

True story: I actually once took French for a year in Middle School — grade 7, as I recall. I don’t really remember anything about it, except that it was kinda hard, and if you know me, then you know that hard stuff is not something I like, so of course I dumped the class. Or, to be more exact, I never took another course after barely surviving the first year. I bring that up to say that if I had stuck with it, I would definitely know what French singer Jenifer Bartoli’s hit song “Au Soleil” is all about, but since I didn’t, I don’t, which won’t stop me from appreciating her. Check her out in pictures and a music video below.
