You know what’s great about baseball? That I can use a variation on the “gone, gone, gone!” homerun chant as a headline for a post that is nothing more than a gratuitous excuse to show bikini-clad pictures of Australian model Jessica Gomes. Yes, she’s an Aussie, but one with a Singaporean, Chinese and Portuguese heritage. Which basically means she gets the added benefit of looking exotic while being able to sport a wacky accent. And let’s face it, as hot as Australian girls are, those accents are just darn wacky! But I digress. Did I mention this post is little more than an excuse to post bikini pictures of Jessica Gomes?

Down Under with Jessica Gomes

Jessica Gomes is a model from Australia, hence the Down Under in the title of this post. (I know, right? Since when have I bothered to actually justify my post titles as being accurate. Well it starts now, buddy! Get used to it!) Anyhoo. Jessica Gomes is Australian, but is of Singaporean Chinese and Portuguese, hence the exotic looks. What exactly do people mean when they call a girl “exotic”? Basically, she’s half this and half that. Hence, “exotic”. Gomes was recently in the 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, although I don’t recall her being in it. But Wikipedia says she was, and it knows more than I, so I’m going to take its word for it. Please to enjoy some Gomes. (Sounds like a chewy gum…)
