You know, I used to think that Twitter was bullshit. I mean, come on, do you really care what 99.9% of these people who are tweeting on a daily basis are doing hour to hour? Then the celebrities came along, and suddenly Twitter became THE destination to tell all their fans about what they’re doing, where they’re going, and what color their latest bikini is. Such as Jewel, who twittered this bikini pic of herself. Man, I love Twitter. As that Borat guy would say, eeees nice!

Some Jewel for your Crappy Wednesday

Who says you can’t be a country singer, settle down with an ex-rodeo cowboy in some ranch in Texas, and still look good when the occasion calls for it? Don’t tell Jewel Kilcher that. Oh sure, it’s been a while since Jewel had a song reach the top spot on the charts (that’s how you say it, right?), but that’s probably because Jewel just doesn’t care to get up there anymore, having already reached it once or twice before already. But never mind all that. Check out these promos of Jewel. No idea if these are old, or if they’re for a new record she’s got coming out. I do know that I recently listened to her CD “Perfectly Clear” and it was rocking. Or at least, as rocking as country music can rock. And yes, I listen to country music. What of it? You got a problem with that? Didn’t think so.

Saturday Hotness with Jewel Kilcher

Well call me Mary and slap me on the ass with both hands. I was sure I had, in the two or three years (I forgot) since I started The Random Page, at the very least made one Jewel Kilcher post, wouldn’t you think? But nope. Nada. After a search of the site using that trusty search function to the right (great invention, that, right up there with bread and porn), I found that there wasn’t a single post on Jewel Kilcher.
