Life after Star Trek’s last TV show, the stupidly untitled Star Trek show Enterprise, hasn’t exactly been kind to Jolene Blalock. Mind you, not that she’s ended up in prison swapping spit with some butch lesbian name Butterscotch or anything, but career-wise, Jolene Blalock could have done better. She’s done a couple of direct-to-DVD movies, and has a sequel to “Starship Troopers” coming up very soon. Well, actually, the second sequel to “Starship Troopers”, which is one of those movies that almost no one asked for, but they’re gonna give to us anyway. And since this is a movie about space alien bugs, I’m guessing gratuitous nudity won’t be forthcoming. For shame. Here are some nice Jolene Blalock pics instead.

Trying to name the Top 5 hottest Star Trek babe is like asking a random stranger if he’s got an asshole — chances are he’ll say yeah, he has one, what of it, and then punch you in the face. Ask any 10 Trekkie, and they’ll give you 10 different answers. The Trek universe is varied and expansive, and you can’t just pick any 5 babe from the franchise’s various incarnations. But hey, that’s exactly what we’re going to do here anyway. Borgs, aliens, and plain ol humans are represented. Here, then, is the Hollywood Top 5: Hottest Star Trek Babes.

First he was off the project, and now he’s back on. Who can keep up with this guy? His career has more twists and turns than an episode of his show “Lost”. (Mind you, not that I’ve actually seen a whole episode of “Lost”, or know enough about it to make such a parallel, but since making the parallel makes me look all hip and cool, I’m gonna do it anyway. Hey, that’s just how I like to roll.) What was I saying? Oh right. It appears that J.J. Abrams is back onboard the “Star Trek” prequel or sequel or whatever it is they’re going to call it. Read on for the happy news, ya knuckleheads…

Wow, talk about a Geeks Galore bloodbath. First Joss Whedon, King Geek himself, leaves the Wonder Woman movie, then David Goyer, Comic Book Movie King himself, leaves the Flash movie, and now JJ Abrams, the Wacky TV Show Guy, has left the director’s chair of the long-planned Star Trek prequel movie. This from Latino Review: “JJ Abrams has left the “Star Trek XI” directors seat. Instead, he is going to direct “Cloverfield,” ironically enough, for Paramount. Another amicable parting it seems.”. Oh well. So no scenes of a young Spock and Kirk putting on red wigs and battling smoky monsters on an island? Bummer.

Ex-Star Trek hottie Jolene Blalock hasn’t exactly done much since “Enterprise”, the last Star Trek show, went off the air a few years ago. She’s done a TV movie, and has a movie called “Shadow Puppets” (that actually has a pretty cool sounding premise) coming out in 2006. Other than that, this skintastic appearance in Ramp Magazine is just about the only thing you’ll fine Jolene doing lately. Maybe she can get together with another Star Trek ex-hottie named Jeri Ryan and, urm, do something together. I’d pay to see that. Again and again and again…
